Salvation's all around you.

Brilliant!

The summer has stopped being cold and dreary, at least for the time being.
My internet has been reconnected.
A trip to the grocery store has provided me with food galore.
Cookie-Ass appears to have gone to live in a field somewhere.

That's four for four. (Well, almost.) Prayer is indeed a powerful thing.

Additionally, today the human race was saved by a wonderful man named Jim who lives on Circular Rd. He saw me weighed down by groceries after walking through the vally and up the hill, and he gave me a ride home. I had never met him before, but he was really sweet to me. From now on, I advocate getting in cars with strange, older men.

Not only that - he was the second random stranger to offer me a ride; the woman who had been behind me in the checkout also offered, but at that time I didn't realise that having a reusable giant canvas bag to save plastic was going to prevent me from distributing the weight evenly to each hand, so I let my pride (read: snotty 'I'm more eco-friendly than you' attitude) answer on my behalf, and it politely declined. Oh well, I'm sure the walk was good for me.

Last night I re-dyed my hair, and my orange stripe is now Punky Colour Red Wine coloured. Today I decided to wear earrings. So now I'm right cute, wha?
