when leaving a sleepy 8 yo in the car... if you leave it running ( so they will be comfortable ) and tell them DO NOT get out of the car...
they will.... and lock all the doors behind them...
so Ethan locked us out of our running truck today at StarBucks... yes he did...
AND the super secret key I keep under the bumper for situation JUST LIKE THIS? well it was n't there...
why?> because I took it out two days ago to make extra copies and ... ehemm.. hadn't put it back.. and couple that with teh fact all the extra keys but ONE SET were in the truck...
DOH!
long story short... my love was on the way back from Edinburg and she had the extra key and while I had to wait a few HOURS, she finally came and rescued me....
remember... 8 YO boys will NOT DO AS they are told...
