BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG=SEXIEST CELEBRITY MALE ALIVE. I thought Billie Joe could not get any hotter than he already is, and man was I wrong. Seeing him live on stage with my binoculars was orgasmic. I went to the Green Day concert last night at the Pontiac Civic Center in Peoria, and it was jam packed with people. Leahia and I picked up our T-shirts and posters before heading off to our seats, and Leahia went insane to see that My Chemical Romance was the opening act. They were really good considering I have never heard their music before, and we had awesome seats. When they were finished, this random person in a pink Easter bunny suit came hobbling on stage with a bottle of beer!! It was part of the act, but totally random. We basically watched a drunk Easter bunny stumble around with bottles of beer while he was chugging them. Green Day made a huge grand entrance and started with American Idiot. They started talking about how stupid politicians and politics were, and how we are really the leaders and basically fuck the government(you would love it Jon!). Everyone was going wild and throughout the show there were some cool special effects. Red and orange flames would burst up from the stage and stay lit for parts of the songs, and there was a lot of firework stuff. There was also an awesome digital screen behind the band that would show videos or display awesome light sequences. I never expected that my Billie Joe could entertain so well, for he really worked the crowd, and put his hand down his pants making orgasm noises lol. He never ran out of energy and kept running/jumping all over the place. He brought up three volunteers in the audience and had one play bass, one play drums, and the other play guitar. The volunteers actually sounded awesome, and he let the guitar volunteer keep his guitar!! If that wasn't enough, he made the bass volunteer stage dive into the audience! He even brought super soakers and started spraying everyone. I love how Green Day sounds exactly the same live and on CD. Their voices and music were flawless, it was identical sounding to the CD. They played pretty much all of their songs, old and new. Billie would even bust out his break dancing moves while he was singing and played his guitar backwards and behind his head. Toward the end, personalized Green Day confetti burst out from the stage and filled up the entire theatre. Some confetti blew my way so I took it home as a souvenir. Of course you can't forget the "mooning" which Billie Joe did at the end. = D The show ended with "Time of Your Life" which was a perfect song to end with. All I can say about this concert is that it was too good for words. I really did have the time of my life. Green Day did an unbelievable job with everything and truly made it a night to remember.
