I don’t know, I smell a moderately successful holiday comedy. What are you doing this winter? =P

Okay, a warning: I am not 100% on what is and isn’t popular, what with being a totally n00b to the show and all, but this is according to what I’ve gathered:

1. I kind of like Season 4. It’s not the best they’ve ever done, but I don’t think it’s the abomination some people seem to think. I think the beginning of the season is pretty strong, and even the end has some very interesting concepts. It was also a REALLY dark point for a lot of characters who hadn’t been there before, and that’s always interesting to see. Yeah, they could have handled the Cordelia issue a little better, but overall…Anyway, it makes me sad when people say you could skip the season entirely.

2. On a related note, I like Connor quite a bit. He’s not my favorite, but I enjoy his character.

3. I like Fred, but killing her off was a good idea. I feel like the writers didn’t always know what to do with her, and this way she got to go out in a strong, memorable way, the plot got some momentum, and Amy Acker got to show off by switching between playing Illyria and Illyria-pretending-to-be-Fred at the drop of a hat. And I’m always up for Amy Acker showing off.

YES! AGREED ON ALL COUNTS.

1. I have mad love for S4. They should have told Charisma that she was evil. If they had done that, the season would have been perfect.

2. CONNOR!!! ♥ I will defend this boy to the death.

3. ILLYRIA!! Seriously though. Amy got better material playing Illyria than she sadly ever did with Fred. And now I'm weeping about the lack of a season 6 all over again.
