Doctor/River OTP. No, the other River.
Discussion after watching the Doctor Who finale! No spoilers for that:
Me: sidenote: everytime I see ‘Doctor/River’ written out, I think of Firefly!River for a split second, and that second involves me going "hell yes, I would ship that"

Elle: she's the bad cop and he's the good cop XD

Me: XDDD she like kills people, and the Doctor is like "River, what did we talk about =/"
Me: and she babbles on about the amount of blood in a human body
Elle: "=o *touches random thing; tardis wooshes*" "no nooo that's the time-gravitational-field-dispeller! don't mess with it!"
Elle: XDDDDDD yes
Me: and he's like "right"
Elle: river would be the cuckoo to his cocopuffs XD;
Me: I'm sure he enjoys not being the crazy one for once
Elle: lol
Me: and he'll lose track of her every now and then because she is hanging from the tardis ceiling somwhere
Elle: and then handcuff her like whoever did that in that episode
Elle: .... I think it was Mal
Me: XD yeah, it was
Elle: ...it's been a while since I've seen that XD;
Me: which naturally leads to her startling him later by appearing behind him, handcuff free
Elle: yes XD naturally
Elle: the first time they meet and she babbles, he sonics her and is like "woah woah what happened to you.... *stares intently*" and she's like "miranda" and he's like "where is that?" and then she like twitches and faints XD;
Me: XDDD lol, and he takes her on the tardis to figure her out, and there is eventually a big confrontation with the serenity crew, during which he is punched by both simon and mal
Elle: XDDDD and mal is like "you take my crew, I fuck you up" and zoe's like "s'right, captain"
Me: the doctor is like "you all have a lot of guns =D"
Elle: and whoever is with the doctor at the time is like "lol you call your captain captain. we just make tea and make fun of ours..."
Elle: XDDD yes
Me: XDD I'm sure this crossover has been written; I just need to find it
On the subject of the actual show, I like how Eleven/Amy/Rory is pretty much canon.
