I finally did a little research re:the shows I want to watch. Here's how it stands:
How I Met Your Mother (CBS - Mon 8:00)
The Big Bang Theory (CBS - Mon 9:30)
Dollhouse (Fox - Fri 9:00)
Glee (Fox - Wed 9:00)
Castle (ABC - Mon 10:00)
I dropped 30 Rock off the list, because I don't think I'll catch up this summer. But there doesn't seem to be any conflict right now. All that remains to be seen is how the Roommate feels about my TV schedule and whether or not I have any poorly-timed labs.
Also, Ellen has been watching HIMYM, lately. She bought season 3, watched about half, and then bought seasons 1 and 2 and started watching them with Jane.
Elle: we finished season 2

Elle: except I am sad that Ted and Robin broke up... even though they were obs never meant for each other

I'm working on a more gen-flavored fic now tentatively called, "The 7th Annual Scherbatsky-Stinson Laser Tag Team Tournament." And I swear, I will finish my Dr. Horrible fic someday.
