I love webcomics. Unfortunately, however, there are limits one should place on such affection. I have a silly habit of mentally tying characters from web comics to individuals I know. Generally this isn't too bad as it makes the story a bit more immersive.
Sometimes however it just opens up old wounds. Worse, once the link is there I can't manage to get rid of it... thus basically ruining the comic for me.
Somehow I think this might be a problem unique to me.
