a year-end tradition
So I'm a legal adult now. Hurrah! I can have "real" bank-accounts, buy alcohol in Quebec, buy cigarettes in America, see 18A movies and purchase things from info-mercials.
Basically, I've done this for about three years, so I figured I'd do it again.
What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Well I graduated high school, started university, I met Lexi, quit my job, we went to LaRonde...
Did you keep new year's resolutions and will you make more next year?
I don't make them, so no.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Apparently my cousin Jeff had another baby, this time named Felicia. You may recall from the 2005 survey that he had a daughter named Shaelina. The poor kids.
Did anyone close to you die?
My Great-Uncle Ken died, but we weren't close. Lots of people I sort-of knew died, actually, friends of my parents and stuff.
What countries did you visit?
Just Canada. I'm hoping to go elsewhere in 2008! Come onnnn, 2008!
What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
I need another job, I need my G2, and I'd like to meet Anna and/or Sarah.
What dates from 2007 will remain etched in your memory and why?
June 28 (graduation), the weekend of July 1st (LEXI!!! and prom), July 21 because Deathly Hallows came out and I'm a total nerd, and my birthday was quite fun. =)
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Graduating high school, I guess. Which wasn't that hard but okay.
What was your biggest failure this year?
Er... is it horrible if I can't think of anything? I didn't get the greatest grades in first semester of school, but I am finding it increasingly difficult to care. I also suck at handling conflict.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
No. I've been weirdly healthy so far, actually. Knock on wood.
What was the best thing you bought?
I'll say prom tickets because it assissted in the beautiful union of Kali and Lexi.
Whose behavior merited celebration?
My first instinct was "Tania", so I guess I'll say Tania. Because... she's a bamf.
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Er, a couple, to be honest, but I can't answer this honestly without dashing some dreams or something.
What did you spend most of your spare cash on?
Starbucks. For two years the answer as Zavida... lirl.
What did you get really, really excited about?
LEXI. Oh the disgusting excitement. I was pretty excited to graduate, too, and for the Christmas break. I'm still excited for New Year's.
What song will always remind you of 2006?
All those shitty hiphop songs - Maneater, Umbrella, The Way I Are, This Is Why I'm Hot... There weren't really any high-quality songs, lirl.

"Hate" is a strong word but I can think of some people I didn't even know last year that I now intensely dislike.

War of the Worlds, but that was for my education. For fun it was probably way back in the summer when I read the Twilight series, which I have some weird like/hate relationship with. Wtf. I bet the pages are made of nicotine.

I didn't really make one. I am in desperate need of new music, which is a good reason I should listen to the CD Will gave me. Hmmm..

I'm eighteen, which is terrifying, and people came here and we ate lots of food and played Balderdash and Catchphrase. It sounds lame but it was SO MUCH FUN you don't even know.
What one thing would've made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
I'm pretty psyched that I met Lexi, but I guess meeting Anna and Sarah would've taken it into ZOMG SUPER AWESOMENESS
How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
'DOES THIS MAKE ME LOOK FAT?' Not really. More like, 'does this look slightly less than hideous?' <- It was accurate last year, it's accurate this year. <- FTW
What kept you sane?
Music and venting. <- Yep.
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I never have a good answer, but John Krasinski is pretty fine. Lookit him wear that Santa hat. (I should probably get a ... not... Santa Hat version.)
What political issue has stirred you the most?
I don't pay attention to politics because I know jack-all about it and I try not to make myself look like an asshole by talking about it when I don't know anything.
Who did you miss?
Lexi, because after she left my house we illogically stopped talking, like, ever. Boooooourns.

Will and Kyle joined our group of badassery. Other than that I didn't really make any new friends.
