Back in like, Nov or Dec, a friend of ours who's a photography major decided to use Star Wars costumers as models for her final project in her digital photo class. Her idea was to take a photo of the model as they really are, then a photo of the individual in their Star Wars costume to sort-of show the transformation. So, I now have some true ( Read more... )

Thanks - I always stress out about taking pictures because I have a hard time getting one or two I'm happy with. Taking pictures is just not fun for me (Yet I go to conventions... and hate all the pictures of me - lol! But I generally like making costumes and wearing them *sigh*) Plus it was around the holidays so that's just always a stressful time. But now I finally have good photos of my X-wing pilot outfit. I've been so lazy about photographing any costumes over the past few years. I keep saying 'one of these days...' Wait, I thought my new years resolution was to stop procrastinating. Well, I guess I'm breaking it already. Aaaahhh!

Clearly, you just need to take MORE photos MORE often, and maybe you'll find more you like? ;D

Hahaha! Yeah, but there will also be more I don't like ;) It's just too stressful trying to get a decent photo. Even my own husband would rather not take photos of me at a convention so what's that tell ya? Though, it's probably because he sees me every day so I'm no fun.

Hehe - thanks. I actually really hate taking photos and it took several tries from my friends for them to get me to agree to do this!

Thanks! Hopefully one of these days I'll get back to making more pretty Padme costumes. I seem to have gotten up in sci-fi military type stuff over the last few years especially with Battlestar Galactica.
