Bah, I don't think you're really alive. I'm convinced you're actually a zombie.

Don't worry, I'm pro-zombie rights. <3

(By the way, we miss you.)

Just a sec, lemme check my flesh to see if it's undead or not.

*checks*

... Alas, you may be right. D:

(Love for zombies! Give the undead a chance!)

I missed you, too. :( M'sorry. *cling* How're you doin', anyway?

Oh! Oh! I know this one!

I'm going to Germany next semester. For, like, six months! I'm really excited. (Because now I'm a German major. Psychology > English > German. I swear, it really does make sense. To me.)

But I'm also afraid that my host family will be cannibals or something. (Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm very open-minded, you know.) And talking in only German will be hard. Maybe I'll just try to communicate through interpretive dance?

In other news... I'm trying very hard to track down every single steampunk anime and movie ever. It's not been easy. Don't even get me started on the books. I'm not even sure that they exist.

Ooohh, Germany! *___* SO LUCKY. Have so much fun! Studying abroad can be hard work, but it's absolutely amazing and you'll never forget it. (Hey, I've seen weirder tracks of study. I approve of all of them. Very cool.)

Don't worry, the host family should be all right - different, but all right. My experience was a great one. Our host mom kept feeding us too much, though. T_T My poor tummy. But yeah, if they're cannibals, just look at it as a learning experience. >.>

Plus, if it's anything like my program, if you have any issues about them or qualms, you can ask to switch. They're pretty easy going about that.

... Interpretative dance is a go! 8D

(Steampunk looks so cool, but I know so little about it. Recs? ♥ )

(I just noticed how many people INSTANTLY RESPONDED TO YOUR POST. I was impressed. Feel loved!)

I'm definitely more excited than nervous about Germany. It helps I have a friend who did the same program last year and she's been telling me all about. So excited!

STEAMPUNK IS ONLY THE COOLEST THING EVER. :D Haha. You've watched/read Fullmetal Alchemist, right? That's steampunk! It's a little more subtle than some, but it's a great gateway drug. If you want a series that's really obviously steampunk, watch Last Exile. It's really good and pretty and I'm 99% sure that Dio and Lucciola have special feelings for each other and just don't know it. Oh, and a good movie for steampunk is the Series of Unfortunate Events movie.

Right now I'm watching Letter Bee and I'll probably start watching D. Gray Man and/or Samurai Seven soon. One of these days I'll put together an actual rec list and it will be glorious. Actually, maybe I'll get started on that now.

oohh, I didn't realize FMA was steampunk! :D Yeah, that stuff's awesome. Last Exile, huh? I am putting it on my list~. (I love the Series of Unfortunate Events!)

D. Grayman is pretty awesome, though I never finished most of it. T_T Need to do that!
