Day 25 - A show you plan on watching (old or new)
There are NO new shows coming on this fall that I plan to watch. Like, there is absolutely nothing in the slate of new shows that looks the least bit interesting. So I guess I'm going to have to answer this with "old" shows.

One show that I want to try once I have some time is Castle. I don't know, a lot of people seem to like it. And I've always meant to go back and try Sanctuary again. And...I think that's really it. Oh, I do plan to rewatch all of Smallville when it ends, because I stopped watching a little bit into season five and apparently after that it got better again? But I think that show's got one more season so it'll still be awhile before I tackle it.

Day 26 - OMG WTF? Season finale
It's sort of become a game, hasn't it, for shows to have increasingly WTF finales. I'm not sure if the OMG WTF here is supposed to convey a "can't wait for next season!!!!!!!" shock, or a "that was so bad I'm seriously considering never watching this show again" shock. So I'll cover both. Lost, I thought, was always good about ending their seasons with a bunch of WTF that made you want to come back for more. I think The X-Files did this, too. Most of the time. I hated the season seven finale, for instance. And then there's the other kind, which Doctor Who sort of specialized in during seasons three and four. All kinds of WTF going on there, but endings that just left me kind of disgusted with the show and, frankly, induced a lot of fatigue. That's why I was so pleased with this year's finale, because it was completely WTF but also had a happy ending that wasn't an ending in the sense the other finales were. I like multiseason arcs and actually keeping the same cast for more than one year! It was getting really old having to be introduced to new characters every thirteen episodes before.
