Day 16 - Your guilty pleasure show
There is someone, somewhere, who would look down on me for watching any show I watch. I take it that's what "guilty pleasure" means? That you're afraid to admit to it because it's so awful that other people would be like, "LOL you have no taste or critical faculties"? In which case, yeah, you can find someone who would say that about any show anyone might watch. Like people rag on Stargate all the time, and talk about how stupid Doctor Who is, and sneer at Psych (yes, there is sneering at Psych! I couldn't believe it either!). So I don't feel particularly guilty about anything I watch. Or, let's look at it this way: everything I watch it a guilty pleasure show because if I'm watching TV I'm not getting more productive stuff done, so it's all essentially a waste of time. Just not a waste of time I feel guilty about.
