Day 11 - A show that disappointed you
Is this a show that I stopped watching because I was disappointed? In which case I would probably say Flashforward, because I lasted two episodes and then I was done. Except I don't think that really counts because it wasn't a show I was massively looking forward to in the first place. I watched it just because it was a scifi-ish show and I thought I should at least give it a chance. I don't know if there are any other shows I was excited about watching but then gave up in disappointment. Maybe Fringe back in season one, but I eventually went back to it and now I love it. I'm kind of picky about what I watch, and I don't watch much. I might come back to a show seasons later and decide I like it, but when it comes to new shows the premise had better immediately grab my attention or I'm just not going to bother with it.
Well, I guess there was the recent fail surrounding Criminal Minds, but that wasn't the show disappointing me so much as it was the production team and CBS. But it's greatly reduced my desire to watch season six, so I suppose that counts?
Then there's Doctor Who, which alternates between disappointing me and delighting me over and over and over again. It's good enough that I keep watching it, but sometimes so bad that I wonder why I bother.
