1. How versatile a word is stuff? It's almost as good as fuck.
2. I watched the first two episodes of Legend of the Seeker over the weekend. If they had been a book I would have thrown them across the room. I understand the show actually is based on a book series, a book series I have never read. I think I'll keep it that way. I'll watch a couple more episodes to see if it gets any better, but it's definitely very blah to start out with. Chase was my favorite character and he didn't even go with them at the end. :( Does he come back? I hope he comes back.
3. Seriously, Glee won a Golden Globe? Not hating on Glee because I enjoy it, but best tv series, really?
4. I ate fast food all weekend so today I'm all eurgh. But there is no other food in the house. Three adults live in my household and every one of us is too lazy to go to the grocery store.
5. The way my cats interact I feel like the theme from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly should play every time they enter the same room.
6. I am so thinking about doing this. I could write the YA novel I've been picking at for too long. The main problem with that is that it's been percolating in my head for years and every time I try to write it I end up staring at a blank screen for an hour or so and then finding something else to do. But perhaps if I had a deadline...
If I did this, would anyone be willing to beta a YA novel(la?) that's maybe sorta scifi-ish but in a friendly-to-the-mainstream-masses way and not a spaceships-and-aliens-and-ray-guns way?
