Long story short: Frustrating, long, long, long, long, looooooong day at work. Didn't get home until it was almost dark, for real. Still have approximately 27,000 tabs open in Firefox because in the last 24 hours EVERYONE EVER posted something

Doesn't everybody have around 27,843 tabs open in Firefox all the time? Right now, I've got 4 windows, and this one probably has 200 tabs .....

Yeah, that's a pretty normal state for my computer, but I do try to whittle that number down a bit in the evenings. Plus my computer likes to stop working when I haven't restarted it in several days, and Firefox isn't 100% reliable about saving tabs to open in a new session. So I like to work through all the tabs over the course of a few days (if I bookmark them I will never look at them again; there are pages in my bookmarks that I don't even remember where they go to because it's been so long) and close most of them out. Plus it kind of bugs me having all those windows and tabs sitting open for days at a time, but it also bugs me to close pages without giving them at least a cursory reading. And there just aren't enough hours in the day!

Good to find out that I'm not the only one that FF looses bookmarks on! When I installed it on the new laptop, I got 3.5 instead of 3.12 which is what's on the other laptop. I've got to restart it here coz I'm stuck with the default wide tabs -- it sucks when you can only see a dozen tabs!
