There are some critiques I need to do, but I'm avoiding that at the moment as well as my own writing. Part of the problem with
autumnwrite, I think, is that NaNo falls right in the middle and even though I have a novel idea I don't want to start it because I want to keep it for NaNo. I also have no motivation to work on any of my WIPs, so I ended up starting a couple of new projects that I'm having a hard time getting interested in. I'll keep plugging away at them, though, and see if I get any more motivated.
So, continuing the TV talk from last night, under the cut I've put the shows I'm watching/trying out this fall and their premiere dates. It's mostly for my own reference so I don't forget when stuff comes on.
Monday
Heroes (September 22nd, 9:00) - I've read spoilers about this one, unfortunately, and I'm not sure if I like them. But I'm one of those who didn't really mind season 2 (though it was definitely weaker than season 1) so apparently my threshold for stupid stuff on this show is pretty high. What I want to see: more Hiro, Matt, and Nathan. Also, a whole lot less Peter because he bugs me.
Tuesday
House (September 16th, 8:00) - I actually haven't seen the last couple episodes of season 4, so I need to catch up on those. But I loved season 4, so I'm just along for the ride.
Fringe (9:00) - This one's already premiered and I wasn't too enamored with it. I'll give it another try. It'll help that it's on after House, a show that I do watch, because I always do better with watching new shows if the TV is already on.
Wednesday
Pushing Daisies (October 1st, 8:00) - I'm most looking forward to this show. It's so good and it's sad that it's first season only got nine episodes.
Thursday
Life on Mars (October 9th, 10:00) - Yes, I'm going to watch this remake, just to see what they do with. I know it'll probably be bad, so it's unlikely I'll keep watching, but I'm going to give it a try anyway. I think it's kind of silly to get offended and upset about remakes or adaptations, because it's not like it's going to make the original cease to exist, and I always find it fascinating to see the changes made to remakes/adaptations.
Eleventh Hour (October 9th, 10:00) - This show will probably be canceled, if only because there's been zero promotion so no one's heard of it. But I kind of like the premise: a bit like Fringe except less anti-science. Also, Rufus Sewell. So I'll be watching at least the first episode.
Friday
Stargate Atlantis (10:00) - Of course this one will still be going on throughout the fall, so I'll still be watching it.
Sanctuary (October 3rd, 9:00) - This is a web series turned TV show starring Amanda Tapping, so I'll definitely be catching the premiere of this one.
And that's it. I don't really watch a lot of TV and I'll be lucky if I'm still watching more than one of the new shows come December. That's assuming they all don't get canceled along the way.
