Yay, Dragon*Con is in less than a month! I'm getting excited.
I have all of today and tomorrow off work and then I only work six hours on Friday, which on the one hand is nice and on the other means I only get like 26 hours this week. But as soon as I started working there I knew there was no way I was going to get 40 hours a week, much less overtime, despite what I was told when I took the job ("You'll totally have the opportunity to get overtime if you want it!"). Yeah, not so much. This one girl I work with wanted to trade this Saturday with someone so she could have it off, but the only person who wasn't already working this Saturday and who wanted to trade wasn't allowed to by our supervisor because it would have put her over 40 hours. We're working for peanuts to begin with; why do they have to be such misers?
