Has anyone read The Winds of War by Herman Wouk? It is so fantastic. But it is also so big and it is taking me forever to read it. I want to be excited about it with someone else.
So apparently the job interview didn't go as well as planned. Oh well, I'm sure that means an even better job will be available soon. :)
I had lunch with
bdbdb the other day and while I was on the lot I bought a shirt that said "muggle" on it. I am so cool and excited to wear it.
I finally bought a big reading chair from IKEA. It's getting delivered next week sometime. It doesn't match anything, but I'm hoping to get some sort of cover for it. I also finally bought some throw pillows. I don't think they match anything either, but I want to get cool fabric and just make my own cases.
For some reason I've been wanting to do all this crafty stuff recently (gardening and sewing). It's a new thing for me, and I'm not sure where it's going.
Next week should be fun! A friend is staying with me while she interviews for an internship, and if she gets it while she's working on it. We're going to have all kinds of dorky fun, and she's already given me permission to have VMars/Gilmore athons.
Do people really still watch The O.C.? I mean, besides me? I'm pretty embarrased (sp?) about it myself.
It should be Tuesday so I can see VMars.
