this just hit me

why do gingerbread men appear prominently during the holiday seasson?
and why do I suddenly want one? ¬¬
.... must be that one commercial.
Can't remember what it's about but it had gingerbread men and red and white christmas decor and parafanalia ¬¬;
I remember in elementary school our class once made gingerbred men, they gave us a ball of dough and we'd break the ball into pieces one for each piece of the body. then we'd take M&M's, raisens, and various other candies to make a face and clothings
and when the day was through we got our ginger bread man back to take home.
gosh dernit I miss being a kid...¬¬
