for about a week or two now something's been stinking up our living room...

and then tonight....

or more like... lack of senility

turns out it was a dead mouse all along
behind our trash can caught in a mouse trap

we're not sure exactly how long it's been there
but it fell into many pieces when we tried to pick it up
