Squee!!!
These day's I've been kinda lazy... looking for KHII stuff in the internetz :P... I'm loving those Organization XIII guys ^^, especially Zexion, Demyx and Xigbar XigDem ftw, btw, Sexyon's seiyuu's Akira Ishida, that is the man who voices Kaworu, Gaara, Xellos and Shinkouhyo ^^ *squee*... I mean, seriously... that man has TEH VOICE *is in love with a voice*. First time I heard Zex I was "OMG! Gaara! OMG, KAWORU!", like a lot of people at Youtube XD. It's exactly the same tone, the same strength, and the same kind of fuck-off-or-I'll-kill-you speech as Gaara's because Kaworu's made of love! Besides, Zex's attitude's just what I like ^^ *likes emo-underage-looking kids*.
Yesterday I watched Genshiken first season. Hehe. It's weird and different to watch an anime series that's realistic... actually it's the first time I watch something like that. Madarame's the funniest otaku ever... God knows I laughed my ass off with episode 9, the episode of the nose hair XDDD. Sasahara's cute... he kinda reminds me of Shinji but without the psychological problems. Saki's my fave character, though, she's just amazing, it was great when she got off the stage and bitchslapped the guy with the camera at the cosplay event ^^. Fortunately next season's on Youtube, so I'll watch it soon.
The squee reason is, of course, Rebuild of Evangelion *fangirls*. I downloaded the final 48 minutes of the movie thanks to
akuyuumei who gave me the link after posting the links to the Chinese website where the videos were posted. I dunno why they didn't upload the first part (Sachiel and Shamshel's battles and Shinji's attempt to commit suicide), but 48 minutes are 48 minutes and after all this time it's a great appetizer, because it has Ramiel's battle and NEKID KAWORU-KUN talking about wanting to meet Ikari Shiji-kun. The quality of the image is not bad, actually; the quality of the sound it's not good, though, but you get to understand. Hey! I'm already understanding some phrases in Japanese!!!
Now, about the content of the movie, there are some things rather different from the original plot from 1995, so I didn't understand some things like:
1. Why Misato knows abour Lilith - it moves its appendixes while crucified!!! Creepy... - and the Terminal Dogma and why does she take Shinji there before Ramiel's battle? I think she tells Shinji something about the Third Impact...
2. Why Lilith's already stabbed with the Spear of Longinus?
3. Why Lilith's mask is like Sachiel's face instead of the mask with SEELE's logo?
4. Why does Gendo want to withdraw Shinji from the battle field and use Rei after the Shogoki is first hit by Ramiel's attack?
The movie is itself rather appealing to the eye... very commercial and I would fall for the capitalist incentive :P. The visual effects are awesome and the new design of the scenery and the characters is very well done... Shinji and Rei look amazing! And of course, nekid Kaworu ftw *blushes*.
I still have my doubts about Ramiel changing forms while attacking and defending... but it sometimes looks great, like in the moment when they attack it with the first blast of missiles and it sweeps them all with energy while spinning over itself, or when it opens itself like in a starry form to attack Shinji for the last time and when suddenly it close itself back to its original form when Shinji kills it ^^. I'm really happy about those sequences. I'm also happy about the drill. I didn't like the pink drill... it was an appendix stranger to the angel to me, but now its lovely, coming directly from Ramiel lower apex while turning over itself and makin like an helix, what bothered me about the drill was the moment when it touched floor... it didn't penetrate like a drill but it just melt into the floor smoothly...
Ok, now, after watching that part of the movie for the fourth time, I'm sleepy... excited but sleepy. So I'm off.
