We had the anime club party last night and I thought it turned out well. Granted, there weren't a lot of people that showed up, but those that did come melded well together. The night started off with me frantically arranging my room and moving everything out of boxes before anyone arrived. As I was hanging my last wall scroll, Tammy showed up. Everyone else started cooking their exquisite dishes while I watched. I was quite pleased with the little preparation I had to do with my green bean casserole and brownies. We had tempura soup with noodles, some kind of yaki, Alex's gruel, lots of different kinds of sushi that Ian prepared, and other stuff that I can't remember.
After that, Kristina insisted that we all play drinking games. It started off fine for me, but then my stomach become too full of food and drinks to have any more. But everyone kept on assigning drinks to me to the point that I could feel liquid standing in my esophagus. I tried taking frequent trips to the bathroom, but that didn't help much. I hoped the people would forget how much I had to drink, but everyone was keeping a tally for me. Anyway, we finally took a break and played Naruto and I totally dominated (of course it's my game, but I still beat their monkey asses).
Next time I'm not eating as much beforehand. But the night was very educational.
