PersephonePlus Mini Review
I feel like I've been neglecting this thing! I'll try to make a "real" update soon with pictures from the past week or so, as well as another update (more like a shameless dump) of the music meme that I am so far behind on. I've just been so busy trying to accept that 1. School is back in session and 2. My best friend and my boyfriend are now hours away D: Boooo. I've been so spoiled by their constant company this summer. I've been trying to keep very busy so that I don't realize this loss even more ;P
For now, I would like to show off these lovely earrings that I bought from PersephonePlus at Etsy.com! I mentioned them in a previous post and I recently uncovered some photos I took of them when I first got them, so here they are, along with my thoughts.

So basically, I. LOVE. THESE. This has probably been one of the most satisfying purchases I've made in a while. PersephonePlus' earrings are handmade to order, and they are so wonderfully unique. I'm a total sucker for bats (no pun intended?).. my first car was half-way customized to become a Batmobile until I had to give up the project because she died (briefly) :( Now she is my dad's primary transit car. So anyway, I was super excited when I saw these! The artwork is absolutely gorgeous and the bat charms add a really adorable little twist. This particular pair costs $22 (I think it ended up being around $24 with shipping), which I find to be an extremely reasonable price, especially for a nice handmade item. They are also very good quality, and include clear backings. There are not many cons that I can think of.. it should be noted that they are not completely waterproof because of the paper art used, but I don't know why you would be wearing these pretties in water anyway >< I suppose that if you need to clean them, you should not to submerge them in any cleaner or water, but only spot clean carefully. They are also a little on the heavy side, as you can see from the picture. The weight does not bother me personally, but it is something to be aware of (I know my mom says she can't wear heavy earrings). I would definitely recommend PersephonePlus jewelry if you like bold romantic and steampunk themed pieces (she also makes necklaces). Plus, the seller/creator is a real sweetheart! I experienced a very friendly transaction and the shipping was notably quick and very reasonably priced. Overall, 10/10.. I look forward to purchasing again from PersephonePlus ^_^
