1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
Appeared on a real radio show...then hosted one.
2. Did you keep your New Years resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't even remember what resolution I made. Or even if I made one, to be honest. It was probably something to do with avoiding another situation like what happened with Robin, so in that, I was completely successful, though only in a hermit-ish way.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes, some good friends had some kinfolk come into the world
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not that I can recall. At least, nobody directly related to me and no good friends, thankfully.

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
A significant other and a team that is actually willing to do data review
7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory and why?
December 11. First show of Paradigm Shift. Who am I kidding? I'll probably still forget the date.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Making it through football season while having to work some of the games as well as becoming well versed enough in the paranormal stuff that people actually think I know what I'm doing.
9. What was your biggest failure?
I gained some of the weight back (though not all, yay!) and I needed to manage the metabolic syndrome better
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I still have some sequelae from the surgeries that crop up from time to time, but nothing new that I'm aware of.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Sony Reader. Too bad I left it someplace and someone has conveniently not turned it in.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My Dad. He's a frakking rock.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
All the loudmouth and ignorant conservatives. Note this is not all conservatives, but the ones who persist in their lies and apalling behavior. Yes, this includes Limbaugh, Palin, Beck, and Coulter. In my life, personally? Lou. Whatever you're doing, I hope it was worth it you lying sack of shit.
14. Where did most of your money go?
A good chunk this passed year went to paranormal related stuff.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Returning to Bisbee and Tombstone. The email reply from Barry Fitzgerald. Starting Paradigm Shift.

I don't know that I have one.

pregnant? Um...no?
i. happier or sadder? Mostly happier. I've got good people in my life
ii. thinner or fatter? A little more portly, but we're working on that.

Proactively searching for someone to share life with.

Being pissed off and incredulous at people who don't deserve the energy.

I've got a family thing to go to at my sister's place.

Nope. Lust? Sure. Infatuation? Mebbe. Have a growing interest? Yep.

Big Bang Theory, Ghost Lab is my favorite one to yell at because of what they present.

I try not to waste my time on hating people. There are certainly a few people I will likely never trust again.

other new gadgets for investigations, I wanted to get more reading done.

I'm goin' ta Disneyland! And then there will be a birthday party for a change.

Someone special to share things with.

Old friends and deepining friendships with relatively new friends.

Can't recall off the top of my head. There are a few who are drool worthy. Salma Hayek is always a good standby and pat answer, though.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The whole health insurance reform debacle.
37. Who did you miss?
I'm gonna have to go with Shannon and Jonno, 'cause they moved away. Other than that, most of the good friends stayed good and I certainly don't miss the chaff that weren't real friends.

Christy's kiddos.

Professed undying loyalty can die a premature death when it suits one's needs.
