Tiffany scored a date
So I realize that my livejournal has lately turned into some daily gossip, but eh! life is far too deliciously juicy to write about non-trivial matters.
As my headline clealy states, I declare that one of my closest friends, Tiffany, finally scored a date. A date with a real boy, who she happens to like A LOT. Tiffany and Jessie appear to be soulmates in the making; it's quite striking to notice their complementary personalities meshing well together. Like I mentioned to her this evening, if I were an audience of thousands, I would totally be throwing roses at her feet for her performance tonight on the dance floor.
Speaking of which, my feet actually are sore after a long night of salsa. Good grief, where did the time go? Let's just say I didn't get much downtime, and that I had a (very attractive and smooth dance) partner to lead me for the majority of the evening's activities. I swear I haven't danced like that in ages. For the matter, there were moments in the evening where I actually had to remember to keep my cool. dammit! boys are not supposed to have that sort of effect on me!

-amy scoring us free NYE passes with the club owner, who bought us all drinks throughout the night and was completely mesmerized by her
-christina and deepa worked their magic with all the little latino men, to the point that they literally had to turn guys away to sit down to catch their breath
-learning how to have a bit more trust and let go for a bit
-dancing the night away and walking away with sore feet but a smile on my face
damn. i have to wake up in 3 hours to walk to my volunteer shift. that's right, folks. tonight's my first night at my new place in belltown, overlooking the seattle waterfront and i'm looking forward to waking up to see the day.
