Tonight was Quite a Romance

A romance that friends can share, anyway. It's odd how perfect tonight felt for a while... It felt almost like a dramatic love sitcom working it's magic into our everyday fantasies. I believe it was something to this effect:

Lights glimmered heavily in vertical lines against the soft rippling lake. Frado and I found comfy seats against a shaded area under a conceiling tree. It's branches curled around my vision like a picture frame, leaving an empty hole in my view where the center of the lake could be seen. Reflections glimmered softly, and the dashes of glow here and there made the world seem like it was devided sharply into small pieces of life.

After engraving this image into my mind, Frado and I headed for the Black Dog Cafe near by to drink a Black Dog coffee. Sipping off the surface of the coffee and staring at Frado and the way the light overhead hit her face, we discussed a few conversations of us now and the future... Small talk, of course. But that can be the best kind of talk in such a comfortable environment.

Somehow this all felt so fictional to imagine, but this happened tonight at Lake Ella very spontaneously... A great night we could share together... even as friends.
