Title: Sexuality--It's Ridiculous
Pairing: KyuHae
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: I have a facebook friend who lives in Seoul...does that count?
Summary: Kyuhyun's probably the straightest guy you've ever met; he likes booze, his job, and women. But what happens when his best friend Heechul decides he's had enough and propositions host Donghae to do his best to change this fact about Kyuhyun? Will it work? Or will there be more problems deciding Kyuhyun's sexuality? And what happens when the playboy starts falling for him?

Hyukjae saw everything.

He watched as this completely unknown man took his Donghae right in front of him.

Hyukjae didn’t know how he had ended up on this couch. He last remembered being dragged by Donghae to a deeper part of the club and he could’ve sworn with the way things were heading, he should've been the one to be fucking Donghae senseless.

But here he was, lying on this couch, staring at a totally spent bartender and his Donghae. He couldn’t help but think, why are they looking at each other like that?

His anger and confusion quickly caught up with him-the alcohol probably intensified the emotions 10 fold.

“What is this?!”

He watched the bartender quickly whip his head around and stare at him with the same horrified expression Donghae was radiating. Donghae sat up as fast as he could, Kyuhyun whimpering a bit as Donghae pulled up off of him. Donghae scrambled for his clothes, Kyuhyun doing the same.

“Hyukjae, I…” Donghae started off, his mouth suddenly feeling very dry and the words that would form an explanation trapped in the back of his throat. What exactly was he supposed to say?

It isn’t it looks like.

How could waking up to seeing your supposed boyfriend with someone else’s dick up their ass be anything else than what it looks like? Besides, saying that would hurt Kyuhyun and Donghae had just gotten Kyuhyun, he wasn’t going to say something stupid that could very well jeopardize that fact.

Seeing that Donghae had no apparent explanation for the current situation, Hyukjae felt the rawest form of heartbreak and betrayal seep into his heart. For 2 years he had waited to see Donghae. All that time he didn’t spare a glance at anyone, his heart always set on Donghae. And seeing how very much they were in love, he could’ve sworn that Donghae would’ve done the same. But seeing him now with a look of neither regret nor remorse, but of only apologies, he knew that Donghae had absolutely changed. His gaze had been shifted to this random bartender and the feeling of being betrayed seeped further into his bones.

“I-“Donghae started but Hyukjae cut him off with the wave of his hand.

“Just…forget it Donghae. I made a mistake in coming back and thinking you’d still be the same.” Hyukjae had to stop where he was, his throat constricting painfully. Feeling he had gotten his point across, he turned to escape the suffocating room, hoping to God that Donghae couldn’t see the tears that were forming in his eyes.

But Donghae saw them. And damn, they affected him 1000 times more than he thought they would. His heart went out to him in every way possible, reminded of all the times he had used his fingers and kisses to wipe those tears away.

He couldn’t just let him leave. He watched Hyukjae pass the threshold of the door and as he moved to go after him, Kyuhyun grabbed his wrist.

“Why do you need to go after him?” Kyuhyun’s expression was kind of dark, almost…panicky?

“I can’t just let him go without an explanation.” Donghae wanted to make a comment about the look on his face that was doing all types of terror on his conscience but he didn’t.

“Why does he need one?” Kyuhyun was almost pleading.

“Please just let go, I’ll be right back.” He stared into Kyuhyun’s eyes, begging him to see how much he needed to talk to Hyukjae at that moment.

Kyuhyun sighed and let go, turning his back on Donghae.

Donghae stood there for a second, wondering if he really should go, but he found himself leaving the room anyways.

Kyuhyun had turned around because he didn’t want Donghae to see the look on his face. He felt like he had just been chosen over. That Donghae had decided that Hyukjae’s feelings were more important than his, even though he probably had never felt more vulnerable in his life. He had so wanted to voice this to Donghae but Kyuhyun couldn’t.

He started to think about what had just happened and oh dear god, what had he just done?!

Sungmin had been his first and only person he had been intimate with and he felt a wave of panic crash through him. He had known Donghae for a very little amount of time and they had just had sex. Sex. Suddenly Kyuhyun had the feeling he had just had a one night stand. Except he cared for and definitely had feelings for the one he had just shared it with, which usually wasn’t the case for a proper one night stand. Proper. Kyuhyun scoffed at his use of vocabulary. But then he was back to panicking. Donghae had just displayed the fact that he’d much rather comfort the feelings of an ex then his current relationship, if you could even call what him and Donghae had that.

And then Kyuhyun felt his walls slam back up around him, encircling him in the false sense of security he had gotten so familiar with. He wasn’t going to let Donghae pick someone over him. He wasn’t going to let anybody do that. He felt like an idiot. He heard a small voice in the back of his head chanting I told you so’s around the cavern of his mind and he did nothing but succumb to them and full-heartedly agree.

He would forget what happened just a few moments before.

He would go home and stand under the hot running water of his shower and rid himself of all traces of Donghae.

He would quit his job so Donghae couldn’t find him.

He would erase all of his feelings for Donghae and be the straight, homo-phobic man that he had known himself to be just a few weeks ago.

And he would keep those walls up, knowing that the only man that had never done him wrong was his Sungmin.

Kyuhyun grabbed his jacket that had been tossed aside, slid it on, and walked out the door, so desperately wishing that he had told Donghae one thing before he had left.

If you go, don’t expect me to be here when you come back.

----------------------------------------------------

“Hyukjae wait!” Donghae made to grab at Hyukjae’s forearm but Hyukjae wrenched it out of his grasp.

“What?! What is there to possibly explain?! It’s obviously clear who you’ve chosen!” Donghae was taken aback and at the sight of Hyukjae’s tears, he reached out for him yet again, pulling him close into a hug.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered, “but you left Hyukjae. You left me alone and what did you expect me to do?” He kept his voice gentle. “For a really long time, do you know what I did for a living? I was a host.” He laughed a little and went on, “I was that desperate to get over you, I got a job to meet and hook up with as many men as I could. It didn’t work Hyukjae. I still missed you. But then one day, in came Kyuhyun, looking as out of place as ever.” He smiled at the memory, “And well…he won me over Hyukjae. Before I even knew you were coming back. You can’t blame me for falling in love when you weren’t around.”

He heard Hyukjae sniff and he raised his head from Donghae’s shoulder where Donghae had been cradling it.

“I guess I kind of know that,” he said, “but God it really hurts. It hurts so bad. It was pretty dumb of me to think that I could just come back after all this time and think it’d be the same huh?” He attempted a pretty sad excuse for a smile, but smiled nonetheless. Donghae smiled back, ruffling his hair slightly. Hyukjae sighed at the familiar action.

“So do you actually like…love him, love him?” Hyukjae asked.

“I…I think I do. It sounds crazy I know, but I think I really do.”

Hyukjae pulled back, wiped his tears and slapped his cheeks, “Okay! I’m over you!” Hyukjae smiled his big gummy smile, both rows of teeth visible.

Donghae laughed at the sight.

“What are you still doing here silly?? Go get him! While you’re doing that,” Hyukjae said, glancing over at dark haired man at the bar, smiling like a deviant, “I’ll be doing this.”

Donghae watched him stalk over to the man at the bar, nearly face-palming himself at his friend’s obvious promiscuity. But then he remembered more important things, particularly a certain bartender left alone in a certain room.

He was so ready to rush in there and to finally be with Kyuhyun the way he had wanted to for…well not for so long, only like a couple of days but still! He was ready to start the relationship.

But as he reached the room, he halted at the entrance of the front door.

The room was empty and there were no longer clothes on the ground.

Kyuhyun was gone.
