the pros/cons of zoos
So before taking my daily nap I had to recount the going ons of last night which I happened to find quite humorous.
So last night around 11ish or so? Sara came in and asked me if she could bring people into our room to watch a movie. Well at the time I planned on showering and going to sleep, so she was like oh its cool I can take my tv elsewhere, so she did. I was talking online to Ty and actually ended up totally bailing on him to go out in the hall and play football even though Leah had already kindly told us twice that the noise of the ball hitting the ground was keeping her from sleeping. [This is me bailing on everyone I was talking to online]. Did I mention Mike, our flickerball coach, was on the hall at the time? So we ended up "breaking up" since apparently we "got together" earlier in practice. Then someone had the ingenious idea of going into Erin's room, giving Mike a beer, and somehow that all led to Mike telling us everything about her romantic life. Oh yeah! It was because I called him a man whore because he called me a slut. That's where it all started! So that took up a very interesting two hours of my life.
So Sara comes back to my room and I'm sitting at the computer and she's all like you're not sleeping! Well it turns out I hadn't showered yet either...but then she brought David [Frodo Baggins] in here and we ended up hanging this really long convo which ranged from the reality of dreams, touching on the holocaust, hitting the pros/cons of zoos and eventually touching back on the holocaust? It was one of those super awesome this is why I'm not sleeping and I go to Davidson conversations :D So after David left and went to sleep, Sara and I got in bed to go to sleep, which never happens when we try to do something simultaneously. It's just not possible. So we ended up talking till really late. I had yet to shower by this point but I was so tired I ended up falling asleep, waking up at 6:30 to shower [hard core dedication] then going back to sleep till 8:10 and hitting up my 8:30, which probably left me with a good 2.5 hours of sleep. [are we seeing why I need a nap now?] Sara actually slept through her 10:30! Oh well it happens...I startled her when I came back to ask her if she was going to lunch.
So now I'm going to hit the sack and prepare myself for a long day of shopping, food, and movies :D Sweet!
