The stars is hiding in their secret place make the night sky a little bit empty. The weather is cold like always in the winter season.
Inoo sit on the wooden bench not to far from the lamp that shining the road. Not to much people in this park tonight. Just a couple and few people walking.
“He’s late” Inoo mumble while he looked at his wrist watch. He looking around, try to searching the figure of a person that he’s waiting for. His face look disappointed after he don’t get what his searching. He look at his wrist watch again, it’s 7.45pm already, 15 minute pass from their appointment.
Inoo looked down, playing his leg, kicking the snow that covered the ground. He feel so boring, He don’t like waiting, not only him, everyone hate waiting right???
He heard running steps coming towards him and turned to the direction he heard the steps. He smile but the smile before turned to angry face.
“You’re so late, Yabu” Inoo said and pouted to his boyfriend.
“Gomen, gomen” Yabu said and making apologize face to his boyfriend.
They sat on the wooden bench side by side. Inoo rubbing his palm to make his palm warm. Yabu see that. He take his boyfriend hand, blew his warm breath to Inoo’s palm and then rubbing his own palm to Inoo’s hoping he doing this can make Inoo feel warm although just a little.
Inoo shoked first but later he feel warm now. But he feel his face getting warm more that his hand because of Yabu action to make him warm. His heart is racing. Do know why, Inoo still feel shyly if Yabu doing something like this toward him. Feels like they are a new couple but the fact is their not.
“Hontou ni gomen ne” Yabu said still with his apologize face and keep holding Inoo’s hand. “Still cold???” Yabu asking, Inoo just give him fake smile “Gomen ne, Make you waiting so long”
“Uun, daijoubu, you’re here now” he shaking his head, pull away his hand from Yabu’s hold but he failed. Yabu holding his hand more tighter than before now. Inoo give puzzled look to Yabu but the other one just looking him in to his beautiful eyes. Inoo still don’t get what Yabu want so he try again. “Yabu, I’m ok now. You can release my hand” he said while he try to release Yabu’s hand from his and for the second time too he fail to do that.
Yabu keep holding Inoo’s beautiful hand with his beautiful long fingers looking Inoo straight in his eyes. He love his boyfriend very much with all of the good and the bad with him. The way he talking to him, the way he calling his name with his cute voice, the way he try to make him smile with his failed joke, the way he smile and laugh, the way he dance, the way he sing, and the way he playing piano. All of Inoo’s he love.
“Doushita no?? anything bad happen???” Inoo break the silence between them. Inoo feel strength with Yabu’s action now. Yabu just look at him no talking. It’s not like Yabu everyday that always do something stupid and childish things.
Yabu smile, this time very cute smile, keep seeing Inoo deep in his eyes and said “Uun, nande mo nai. I just wanna hold your hand”. Inoo feel his face blushed, his heart is racing again. That smile. Yes, that smile. Yabu’s smile that make Inoo falling with Yabu. Yabu’s cute smile made he feels like he falling in love with Yabu for the nth times.
Inoo can’t doing anything. He just let Yabu continue to holding his hand.
“Why??? You don’t like it???” Yabu asking with teasing tone.
“Eh?? No, no… It’s not like that. I just… just…” Inoo said nervously. Inoo can’t continue his sentence. He don’t know what he want to say. It’s not he don’t like Yabu holding his hand like he doing right now. He like it, no he love it.
Again, Yabu smile looking his boyfriend act. “Then, it’s ok right” he said. Inoo just nod. “Arigatou” Yabu reply.
Yabu change his position from facing Inoo. Keep holding Inoo’s hand but now he make his fingers intertwine with Inoo’s fingers. He looking around, observe the park that covered with the snow.
They stay like that for a couple of minute until Inoo start the conversation.
“Nee, Yabu…”
“Hhmm..” Yabu reply but not facing Inoo.
“Why you call me???”
“No, nothing. I’m just missing you” Yabu said, turn his head to face his beautiful boyfriend and smiling.
That smile again. Inoo heart racing. Only in 15 minutes Inoo’s heart racing for the nth times. If this keep continue maybe I’ll die soon Inoo’s though. Inoo try to shoo his nervous and said “Don’t kidding me. We're separate from jimusho only two hours ago Yabu”.
“Yes, I know. But I still missing you” Yabu reply easily.
“Cheesy” Inoo said and move his gaze from Yabu try to hide his flushed face. Yabu just smile.
They keep holding hand each other. Inoo staring at the cloudy sky than looking around. The couple that he see a while ago is not there anymore. Yabu looking at kid that preparing to going home with his mother after make Snow Man.
“Nee, Yabu”
“Hmm…” Yabu reply but not looking at Inoo.
“Yabu” Inoo try again.
“Nani??” Yabu reply but still not looking at Inoo.
“Nee, Yabu!!” now Inoo’s voice louder than before.
“Hai, hai, nani???” finally Yabu leave his gaze from the kid and his mother turn his head to face Inoo.
“Ore no koto, suki???” Inoo asking and his question make Yabu give him -what kind of question is this- look. Silence around them until a few second later.
“Nee, where’s your answer???” Inoo break the silence since he don’t get Yabu’s answer.
“Why you asking this question???”
“Nothing, I just random question”
“Then, you want true answer or lie answer???” Yabu try to teasing Inoo again.
“Yabu, I’m serious. You love teasing me right???” Inoo pouted and make Yabu laugh.
Yabu change his position so that he can face Inoo clearly. He leaning in closer to Inoo. Give him a soft peck on his lips. He laugh as their lips parted and seeing his boyfriend’s face getting redder. Then Yabu grab Inoo’s shoulders, take him into his warm embrace. Placed his chin on Inoo’s shoulder and hug Inoo tightly, very tight that make Inoo can feel so warm in Yabu’s embrace.
“Suki” “Daisuki da yo” Yabu said softly in Inoo’s aer.
Inoo move his hand to hug Yabu back. “Will you always like me ???” Inoo asking again looks like he not satisfied with his question before.
Again, Yabu didn’t directly answer Inoo’s question. He release his embrace, looking Inoo deeply in his eyes.
“I like you. Now. Hopefully this feeling will last forever” Yabu answer Inoo’s question.
Maybe if the other person heard Yabu’s answer they will think What kind of answer that. But fortunately Inoo has a smart brain so he know the meaning of that sentence. No doubt he is MeiDaisei, taking up one of the hardest course, architecture.
“I like you. Now. Hopefully this feeling will last forever”
Just a simple sentence. But no lie. No promise or something like that. Love will change. Day by day. Time goes by. That love will decrease or maybe will increase. He is still the same person. But not that same again.
Inoo’s face become blushed but after that he smile.
“Ashite itekurete arigatou (Thank you for loving me)” Inoo said and gave Yabu sweet kiss on his lips before he blushing furiously.
Yabu giving his warm smile to Inoo.
“Ishoni itekutere arigatou (Thank you for being with me)” Now is Yabu turn to gave his boyfriend a kiss fully on the lips. Inoo melted not a second after that and return the kiss.
Yabu broke the kiss and caressing the pale cheek of his boyfriend gently, looking at him full of love. Inoo’s face blushed as a reply and snuggled closer to Yabu. They hugging each other make they feel warm in each other embrace.
