an important announcement.
I think most if not all of you know I had gastric bypass almost five years ago/ Ive lost about 130 pounds, worked out a lot, built muscle, murdered DDR ... and now, the end game begins.
Before the holidays I have the goal of two surgeries: an abdomniplasty (removal of a lot of skin and tightening of the muscle wall), and a bilateral mastoplexy (lift and slight reduction so that my chest is, um, not lopsided).
This is gonna be painful, time consuming to heal, and a bit of a shock -- goodbye envelope over my tummy Ive had since my teens (its just grown in size over the years) -- but its a good deal ... and it will allow me to lose even more weight to get even more skin removed.
Wow. This is really happening. Scary. Awesome. Scary Awesome.
