Costco disaster
We went to the new Costco Friday night. I found the PERFECT jewelry box -- finally -- amongst our purchases.
Thing is, we went to check out and found out our ATM card for First Bank -- we changed from US Bank cause they (US Bank) were nickel and dimeing us on fees -- isnt on any of the networks Costco takes. (They dont take Cirrus. Um, huh?)
We had no check book, so we had to have them put our order in the cooler while we went home and did that. And then they told us they voided out the transaction, so we had to go through the line AGAIN. Argh. So Im keeping a check book with me when I go there from now on.
Yesterday was pretty dull. I think we went out for coffee, and that was it as far as going out. We hosed our NWN game yet again, so we started over YET AGAIN. Frustrating as all heck, but we will finish this game. We'll probably play more today.
I also watched some preseason football. The game was Vikings vs Steelers, but I didnt see the final -- Pittsburgh won -- because when Leftwich came in for Pittsburgh, I gave up.
Watched the Olympics as well. An Aussie upset the perfect run in diving for China. No offense to China, but Im kinda feel warm and fuzzy for the Aussie.
Today, Im going to one of my technique classes, and then we will probably play NWN. I do want to see the closing ceremonies as well, but Im taping them.
Guess thats its. Boring ...
