Demo, day 9, Doggie mix up, and ... JOB INTERVIEW
Randy came back yesterday briefly to oversee Chad starting the priming on our room. Then he and Alex left to go to another job since Randy got behind due to the sick day. Chad finished priming the room, and it looks ok, I guess. They took out the floor that used to be the hall closet floor, and they nicked the drywall a bit. So Im kind of upset about that, but I think it will be covered by a trim piece, so it should be fine.
The hardwood floor person is coming to fix the floors so they line up with the arch correctly. Randy is coming back at some point today to do the painting -- or have one of his crew do it; doesnt matter as long as its done right -- so we will be closer to getting the room back. I just hope the carpet guy can get in this week so we might have the room back by the weekend. Im tired of not having my room.
So the plan to get Charlie to a kennel went haywire. I guess he had a shot that expired, and no kennels would take him without it, and I guess Michelle couldnt find a place that would just administer the shot and then put him in the kennel. So poor Charlie is stuck inside in the laundry room for the week. =/ Unfortunately, I took him all the way to the kennel and didnt get the message that I wasnt supposed to take him until after that. Whoops.
As promised, Brett from the rec center called me yesterday. He offered to interview me this morning at ten, so I got dressed up. Im kind of nervous about it, although I shouldnt be. I know I can do the job. But Im not feeling 100% this morning, and I dont want to blow it. I just gotta calm down.
BTW, for those of you who Netflix, did any of you get a notice of your plan cost decreasing. I got an email that my one at a time plan is going down by a dollar. Im wondering if its an across the board cut, or what.
