Hello LJ! It's been too long...

It's is 2013!

The last time I posted something was back in 2011! I think Facebook had stolen my attention since then. I am surprised my account is here, but my paid account is no longer. Anyways, so much has happened since 2011...

I moved out of Winter Springs in May 2012 and moved back home. I was not working and I did not want to ask my parents to pay for me anymore. So, I moved back. Life in Winter Springs has its ups and downs, but I do not regret moving out there with two roomies who helped me through the hard times: Katrina and Jiah. My cosplay group and friends, Baka Rose helped me too. Plus, Metro Church for being my safe haven on and off since college.

Katirina got married back in April 2010 and Jiah moved around in since we moved out in May 2011. Jiah had to go back to South Korea in the following year and I took an epic road trip back with her for 15 days. We took trains, planes and automobiles from Orlando to New York City with many stops in between. I kept on thinking about the beautiful sights we saw from the luscious green of Savannah, the historic beauty of Charleston, the laid back Myrtle Beach, the deep blue waters of the Outer Banks, the beautiful sunset at Jeannette Pier (also Outer Banks), and the lively New York City. We had our up and downs then too, but we made it safe. Now, Jiah is home with her new life as a English instructor. And I...

...started to get fit with Beachbody. Well, sort of. I started a Beachbody program called Chalene Extreme in July, thanks to my coach/cousin, Anita. I gained more muscle and lost no weight. However, losing weight was not the point. I found my positive self in the process and had the drive to keep looking applying for jobs for my jobless self.

And lo behold, I was found by the Walt Disney Company on September 20, 2012. I got a $7.95/hr job as a Park Greeter at Epcot. The pay sucks, but I was determined to have a job of my own and it felt like I start over again with a new slate yet to be filled. I worked as a Park Greeter till May of this year. I transferred to a better position with higher pay as a hostess (seater) at Narcoosee's at the Grand Floridan. I am still with them and still learning. :)

I turned 30 and scored a new car on September 16th, 2013. I also did more Beachbody programs: Tubro Fire and currently, Focus T25! More muscle, but the weight still needs work, lol.

Finally, the last, but not the least huge thing that happened in my life is my love of almost 6 months: Ian. He was an acquaintance I knew from UCF back in 2002. We were both in CCF (Christian Campus Fellowship). We were friends on Facebook and he had seen that we had so much in common (love of anime and geeky stuff). So, he took the initiative and asked me out. Since our first date in February 2013, we are still going strong! :D

I never felt so happy in my lifetime, even with the bad days. All that has happened, really made up from my many years of depression and feeling of worthlessness.

2013 is the year that the black clouds fades into the sunlight.

happy, job, life, 2013, love
