Why I'm selling so much off....
and giving up on Pullips
OK, so I decided not to keep Nomado once I pay her off, and RIDa well, I'll give her Nomy's hair and sell Nomy bald with Rida's scalp. I just don't really want anymore Pullips until I get Timmy and Crazy and then I dont know if I want any after that, but if I do, it'll be every TaeYang and 1 girl (but I dont know who) per each.
I'm also considering not getting Lrrh, but it's something I'll discuss with Shay later, as I really just dont want anymore Pullips. I'm even considering not customing Shyne or Ric. :/ I just don't feel like it anymore.
I already sold Drama, Gaara, Daniel, and some others.
I guess it seems weird as to why I would do all of this when I loved them so much, but right now, I'm not in a veery Pullip-y mood, and I dont think I will be anytime soon. :(
It started way back in December with two trades I had. One person got what I sent them and never sent anything back, and a month later I told them forget as I didnt need it anymore. Another person sent back an empty envelope, and I asked them about it since the envelope had a small tear (it was a pair of htf type 2 shoes for a pair of brainworm chips) and the second envelope never came at all. I dropped it because it wasnt worth it.
Then came the SS swap on PS. Of course I would be the dope who got Cass as a partner :/ I sent her a sweet load of stuff and in Feb., when I still hadnt gotten anything, she IMed me and explained that she was late due to RL stuff and would send it out immediately. Late Feb, nothing came, she said it must have gotten lost. She would re-send me something, including a nude body since she knew I needed one. Twice she told me she sent it out, once priority with tracking since the first gift got lost. By March it dawned on me that I wasnt getting anything :(
Stupid thing is, she was also my VS partner and knowing I hadnt gotten anything for x-mas, I still sent her more stuff for VS because I trusted her. Me = world's biggest retard.
For VS swap I got one thing out of three partners. It wasnt even doll related. -_-;
Then the person who was running the VS swap on PS told me she had gotten ripped off too and on top of that, she sent out gifts to people whose partners had cancelled, even though she wouldnt be getting anything back for all of those. I asked her if to make us both feel better, maybe she wanted us to be swap partners? She agreed and I sent her a bunch of stuff. She didnt have transportation and then had a vacation so I understood when she said stuff would be late.....I'm still waiting and havent gotten anything including one thing I actually paid for!
Mind you every single person who had me as a partner got stuff from me and usually alot of it.
Then came the last ever PP swap. I was hesitant to trade with someone overseas but Kat was sick and had already paired me with someone (she lost my form saying no overseas people) and so I agreed to let it be and sent them some stuff, a good bit too (over the $10 limit) and never got anything. They gave me reasons such as that they were trying hard to make something special, but when PP closed down, I dealt with the fact that I probably wouldnt get anything...though the person has contacted me at another forum saying they would still send something....still waiting.
I have admittedly been late getting some stuff out lately becuase of personal reasons, but I still get things out. And I do my best to include extras in anything that is super late. But it really starts to get me down after getting ripped off so many times. And the stupid thing is, I really, honestly do believe that the last two people might still send something ;_: Like I sort of know that they wont in my head, but I still want to have faith and believe them, and that hurts more than anything.
I havent heard from either of them in a while either. :(
I feel like a huge freakin ass.
So yeah, everyone will get their packages from me, and I'll be around the community a bit I guess, but not much :(
I'll probably be starting a new more private journal too and closing this one sometime this week.
