Sun's big loss

So, I am a decent Suns fan. I was really into them when I was younger (when they had Charles Barkley and played the championship against the Bulls who then had Jordan). Anyhow, since Josh started getting into basketball last season, I have too. Our school was given some tickets for tonights season opener and so I was one of the chosen teachers to go. I was excited because I had never been to a Suns game before.

Even though we had pretty bad seats it brought back memories of going to high school basketball games and how fun those were. But, it ended up being a terribly disappointing loss to the Lakers. The Suns had new member Grant Hill playing too much (I lost count of how many times he 'accidentally' passed the ball to Kobe), Steve Nash was ball hogging (and I *heart Nash), and Diaw and Barbosa needed to be in the game more. It was FUN to watch the Suns last year, and I had high hopes for them. If we weren't passing the ball to the Lakers tonight we were hitting the rim instead of net. Regardless of the 30+ lead the Lakers had we stayed like good fans until the end of the game. I was secretly hoping for some miracle game and I would get to say 'I was there!'
