I am taking a break from making bento for at least the next month. The next two weeks are stressful/busy ones with parent teacher conferences coming up, as well as other end of the quarter going-ons. There are a few other reasons as well: 1. I am trying to save money on food and bento usually costs me $20-$40 extra a month, 2. I am addicted to
Tofurky deli slices in a sandwich, 3. I've had no desire/inspiration to make bento, 4. I've been lazy lately, and 5. I am going to try tracking my calories through
SparkPeople again. Then I'll be on break (and out of the country) for 2 weeks, so we'll see how I feel come mid-October.
Lately my lunch consists of:
Whole wheat bread with mayo, sharp chedder, and Tofurky deli slices
V8 (mini 5.5 oz can)
100 calorie pack of chips
and fruit if I'm still hungry
