I don't really have a ton to say, but I felt like putting something up here anyway.
It would seem that I don't lead a very exciting life because I really can't think of any exciting things that have happened recently. Have I seen any good movies recently? The last movie I saw in the theater was True Grit. I will say it was a good movie, but not one that I will watch again. Tomorrow I am going to go see Black Swan with my stepdad. He told me it is one of his new favorite films-top 5 actually and he wants me to see it too. I am looking forward to it actually. I don't think we have done anything just the two of us in years.
I watch a lot of Netflix and Steve and I recently got into watching the new Battlestar Galactica. I know we are way late to the party, but I like watching the show commercial free and watching as many episodes as I want in a row. We have finished the first season and are a couple episodes into the second. It is a very serious, dramatic, sci-fi, so it is hard to watch too much at one time. We completely gave up on Lost, which was the show I tried to get into last year. Most people have told me it is not worth it to watch, so I don't think I will ever come back to it, but I do like BSG a lot. I know we will finish that up. I also like watching all the documentaries on Netflix. My more recent tv addictions were Boardwalk Empire, which was a completely awesome first season and I still really like watching Castle. I am not caught up on it, but I have it on the DVR, and I just love Nathan Fillion. He might be the most charming actor on tv.
Steve and I are trying to lose weight. The never ending battle. I am happy to report I lost 10 lbs in January. I hope we can keep the momentum going. I started this project last year, and failed. This time has been a little easier, and we have a goal in mind to help keep us on track. However this weekend is going to be a bust because we are going to my mom's house for dinner, which is always means an abundance of food. This week was going so well too...
The house is still the same. We still have our Christmas lights up because it has been either too cold or to wet to get on the roof and take care of taking them down. The first mild weekend and we are getting our asses out there. It is hard to take care of such a big place. Even in the winter we don't have any yard work hardly, but there are stuff that we need to do. It is also so hard to keep up on all the vacuuming with the 4 pets shedding all the fricken time. I am so happy to have our home though and I really love it. Our little town is cute even if it is in the boonies.
The dogs are doing ok. Phillip has an ear infection thing going on, but what else is new? That dog is so high maintence, but both dogs are the loves of my life (next to Steve of course) and I absolutely adore them. I can't wait for this weather to clear up a little so I can take them out more. Speaking of the dogs, I think I need to fill their water bowl.
