So I decided to dress up for my work's Halloween celebration. I am going to be a Hogwarts student. I don't have a robe, but I have an old Slytherin hooded sweatshirt, a Slytherin tie, a white button up shirt (though a little big on me) and we just made me a wand out of large wooden spoon that Steve modified by cutting off the spoon part and spray painting black. It will be ghetto, but I think people will get the gist anyway. I think we are doing farely well for a costume on the fly. I just want to participate and try to have a little fun at work. I also entered the pumpkin carving contest with my "Jacques-o-lantern". I think mine has personality and I am hoping people will appreciate that it didn't come from a stencil. However, the other ones are pretty good, stencil ones, so who knows?
We had our pumpkin carving party last Saturday. It was a decent turn out and there were some good pumpkins. Steve got a chance to meet some of my co workers, and we also got to meet another cavalier. That in itself made my night. :)
I am not really sure what we are going to be up to this weekend. I have my ghetto outfit and Steve has something in mind too if we do decide to go out. At the same time, I would love to just have a scary movie marathon at home. It is supposed to rain all weekend anyway.
