with her hand in mine, something is breaking faster
y'know, at the end of the day I don't even know how today went. I honestly can't say if it was a good day or a bad one. Many many small good things happened. One glaringly large bad thing happened. Details (or as detailed as I care to make it) below
++ Crashed at Chez RLM last night. Chatted for hours. Much previously unknown awesomeness discussed. Slept well upon v. comfy couch (alone, thankyouverymuch :P). RLM made v. yummy unanticipated breakfast this morning. Continued fun conversation until self was almost late for work.
--- Went downstairs. Got in car. Noticed things amiss. Car has been broken into. Purse is gone (the one time I accidentally leave it in there. Was wedged under passenger seat), including driver's license, debit card, NY&C card, necklace purported to be made of the last of the fairy diamonds in Viscount Archibald Greyson's infamous mine, and various things of sentimental value (such as "Monorail Copilot License" from Disney trip with Scream & MikeD). My car was one of four or five hit last night. Police were already there. Spent much time with nice lady cop. Spent more time on phone with banks and credit card places. Is possible will not have access to $ til Tuesday.
+ RLM v. sweet about whole thing. Stayed with me til cop left despite having somewhere to be. Spontaneous loan of cash to help out til I get stolen card issues worked out.
+/- Was 1.75 hours late to work. Manager understanding about car-broken-into issue. Customer flow more like customer-vaguely-leaky-faucet-that-drips-about-once-every-20-minutes. Sales goal not reached.
+ Surprised by awesome roomie with pretty Cecilié-esque bracelet.
+ Surprised again and treated to dinner by rlginny. Allowed to speak dorkily for long time. Discovery and gifting of awesome Cecilié-bling from Icing.
- Missed band rehearsal on account of 1. forgetting today was Wednesday and 2. Lacking sufficient gas to *get* to band rehearsal.
okay, looks like one more plus than minus. Really, once all the financial whatnot gets worked out, the one glaring bad won't look quite so glaringly bad, I think. We'll see.
Otherwise, going to clean a bit and crash hard....
