Hiding With Girls... !
Right so yesterday Jon finally got his insurance and I was the first person to be in the car the first time he drove somewhere! Woohoo!
So yea first we went to Theydon Bois to get money off sausages rob, who seemed abit bewildered to say the least :-S and then we went to McDonalds in Leytonstone and I nearly lost my bag with Jon's minidisc player in it (oops... ) and then we went back. Oh and Jon's Johnny Truant t-shirt came through, which is good timing as he somehow, in his drunken state, lost his Biffy Clyro tee Wednesday night when he went to see Finch with Dan. Stupid Jon.
We then had the longest car journey ever to Tottenham Court Road as, I can't remeber what, but something sparked me off to talk about the whole 'us-breaking-up-and-kim-going-to-gj-instead-of-me-thing' and it was like for about 20mins I stepped out of my body and was just watching myself act like a complete twat. I can excuse myself for getting annoyed about it to some extent, but still... I slapped him... sorry... But we hugged and said sorry and it was all ok.
We met Helen at Tottenham Ct Rd and apologised cos we were like an hour late (oops!) and went to see mad capsule markets (who we were mainly going to see because Hiding With Girls were supporting) Mad Capsules were ok but HWG were great ! :)Helen had the EP and we knew they were hanging about upstairs but she was too shy, so me, being the mad person who talks to (and annoys) everyone in any band ever! was lumbered with the job. So I walked up to the drummer who was extra nice and I told him to sign it 'to helen' and he signed my army jacket aswell and so did the lead singer :) (I now have, matt from funeral for a friend and the lead singer and the drummer from Hding With Girls on there :-D) and then the drummer (who did tell me his name but I forgot!) said he'd go find the others to sign it. And I thought he meant on his own but he kinda grabbed my hand so I went with him and we walked past Jon and Helen and the look on their faces was highly ammusing lol (see?! this is what you get for being shy!) and I met the guitarist and the bassist but didn't really get a chance to talk as it was downstairs and kinda loud as it was Mad Capsule Markets set. We then went back up and stood and watched them for abit, and he started asking me about what I thought of mad capsules and I said, that i thought they were ok but we mainly came to see his band and he was well chuffed! lol. We then went back to the seating area where the guitarist and lead singer were and I told them off for not playing Marty McFly but they said they thought it wasn't that good :( but they played Stars Cascade and 100% Cotton which are even better so it was ok :).
I then went to go give the EP sleeve back to Helen and the drummer guy just kinda said he had nothing to do now and asked what I was doing (i think he might have been trying to get away from these girls he was sitting with) and i said i was going back to Helen and he should come meet her so he did and she was well embarassed. And when he walked away she just kind of... fell on the floor lol. Yea so he was nice, they were all nice, no big deal, lol. And when we left they waved and the lead singer said bye to me. :) we then went to burger king so I could have one of those swiss cheese melts (mmmm... ) and then gave all my change to a homeless guy and then me and Jon drove home, and I flashed him and he kept getting lost and I was really tired. And then we got home. I felt abit car sick from all the driving around lol. And I just passed out on Jon's bed. And then, this morning, I got up and came home, and am about to get ready for film studies lol. hmmm what a day...
