go figure
There was like a 30-degree difference in temperature in Boulder between yesterday and today. When I went to bed it was unpleasantly mid-nineties-ish, and when I woke up it was more like the mid sixties, and it maintained that for most if the day. At least I assume it did; I work in a windowless office and don't usually know what's going on outside.
After several suggestions and a lot of curiosity, I finally succumbed to Lost last month. Let's just say I've developed a bit of a Lost problem. I rented a couple of discs and decided I liked it, and it was technically more economical to buy the DVDs than to keep renting them, so I rented season 1. And since my roommates were out of town for the first couple of days and there wasn't a whole lot to do, I blew through a lot of it. And next week I got paid, and bought season 2. And started that up when I finished season 1. And now I'm like 2 episodes away from finishing season 2, and am downloading season 3 as we speak. Granted, it's been like a month, but still!
So now I get the Kate/Sawyer thing. And so don't get the Kate/Jack thing (he's dull). And... a lot of other things. The nice thing is, since I still haven't seen the 3rd season (which I've heard derails midway through, but whatever), I have something to look forward to this summer while the gap closes between the season 3 finale and the season 4 premiere. And time to consider getting cable.
So I guess I am officially back on LJ. I guess I'll start modifying my profile (for the first time in like a year and a half, I'm guessing) and tweaking some things. Fun stuff.
