you COULD say that it was a pun by saying that he was "awe filled" when he saw the rubber ducky and that he's awed by it. that way it would be excusable as "awefully" ^_^

that's actually what the word "awful" is supposed to mean. The definition as we know it has been since distorted. Either way, it's a really cute icon~
