It's been a while since I last updated this. Now that I don't make graphics, I feel like I don't have much to post about. I'm alive, mom is going crazy, etc. The usual.
- I've managed to start watching Gintama... again. Had to start over since I didn't even remember where I left off last time :x I'm currently on episode 31. Gintoki is a pretty cool guy. Do they actually reveal anything about his past? I'm tired of being teased by the OP/ED sequences, I mean...
- Up to date with FMA Brotherhood. I haven't read the manga so I can't make comparisons, but I think I prefer this series. I'm not sure why or how, but the characters seem more likeable to me now. I used to hate Winry, but not anymore.
- And Kawamori trolls us yet again with the Macross Frontier movie. I should've seen it coming.
- Why did I ever pick up Final Fantasy X? I was better off never having played a Final Fantasy in my life. Now I can't help but be extremely interested in a game I can't play (FFXIII. I think I'm gay for Lightning :P). There's no way I'll buy a Playstation 3 and an HD TV just because of ONE game. That's the sad truth. I'm actually considering borrowing someone else's PS3 and getting the game anyway. lol
Being a surgeon must be tough as hell! Today I got to scrub in for the first time. (4-hour surgery, ouch). I obviously didn't do much and most of the time only got in the way... "Don't move! Don't touch that! Hold this! Pull that! Give me a RANDOM NUMBER clamp." WAIT WAIT WAIT WHAT. Too much stuff happening at the same time. Everything is so complex and precise.
Surgeons aren't exactly the nicest people around. They don't ask nicely, they yell at you for not knowing how to do what they're asking you to do. Not to mention.... the intern surgeon who was helping out has the same name as I do. "Carina, cut this here." "Not you, my student" "Oh ok!" AWKWAAAARD!
Anyway, I did staple about 20cm of the incision. Earning a "Good job! You didn't pass out, that's a good start! :)" comment at the end. I guess I suck at this surgery thing. Surgeons staple people. I've always found that weird..
