Character's Name: Hanyuu Furude
Series: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
Timeline: Before Minagoroshi-hen and Matsuribayashi-hen.

(Additional information - major spoilers from beyond the anime!ending. I'm mainly taking Hanyuu from Higurashi game!canon, since I do not know how the anime will handle this part of the story arc)
Whenever Rika tried to bring up Hanyuu's past, Hanyuu would quickly avoid the subject. It was then in Saikoroshi-hen that she explained the beginning and how she become a God. However, Hanyuu admitted that she nearly forgot her own past after many centuries.
Before Hanyuu became the God of grace, protection, and marriage, she was a mother. The day she decided to become a God was when she had lost all faith in the human world. Hanyuu was not satisfied living in a cruel world where humans could do nothing but put blame on each other. In order to purify those sins, Hanyuu decided to take on all the sins of the human world and have her daughter, Ouka, kill her. Hanyuu had thought that if she had not given her daughter the role of killing her, then she would be despised as the daughter of the Demon God and would eventually end up becoming the same as Hanyuu by losing faith in the human world.
What your character can offer: A lot of moe~. But seriously? Some time manipulating abilities like freezing time or a very, very, VERY small shift. She is also seen being able to deflect objects. However, after a thousand years, Hanyuu's powers have grown VERY weak and it's a rare occassion to have her be able to use any of these abilities.
Oh, and she may provide some mothering on occassion. Well, she'll try to be motherly at least. She hasn't had human contact in years, so it'll take some getting used to for her.
Hanyuu is also able to transfer Rika's memories and follow her between worlds. This power won't be applicable in Discedo, of course.
Please keep in mind that this is mostly game!canon Hanyuu, since the anime barely covers her past and I don't know how the OVA will handle the Saikoroshi-hen arc.
