Invisible Red Thread
“Yasu, Yasu” he heard somebody calling him.
“Oh, yes, sorry. What is it?” he answered.
“I’ve been calling you for a while now; you seem to be in deep thought. Are you alright? Subaru asked.
“Yes, I’m sorry.” he answered.
Lately he’s been bothered by something. He can’t remember when it started; he just realized that he doesn’t have the energy to do work. He seemed uninspired of everything and he feels that he’s making his fans happy but he doesn’t have the motivation to do his best at all. All the stuff that they had been doing are becoming a routine and he’s starting to get tired of it.
“You know what, if you’re feeling down, you can talk to me.”
“Eh?’ he answered surprised.
“It seems like something’s bothering you. I’m worried you know. When times like this happen to me, I talk to someone, it really helps.” Subaru said.
He is staring at him, his eyes wide. Why didn’t he realize it before? Subaru. He was always there for him, always supportive, even his mom. He was always listening to him and always tries his best to make him laugh. He always notice when something is wrong with him. The thing he is looking for is right before his eyes. Why didn’t he notice it before?
“Arigato, na.” he smiled shyly.
‘Eh? I haven’t done anything yet.” Subaru answered.
“Iie, you have done enough. I was depressed because I thought nobody appreciates what I’m doing but then I realized I have you.” He said, his face all red.
“I guess a person is born to make another person to make another person feel special. Just like you are born for me. Maybe we are born for each other.” Subaru whispered.
“Eh, nani?” he asked.
“Nande-mo-nai” Subaru answered.
“Okay, maybe I’ll go to Maru-chan first. I think he is calling me.” As he turned his back to go out, he can’t stop smiling, happiness written all over his face.
