(no subject)
I'm excited. I just got a promotion at work!!! I've actually known about it for a while, but for a change in title, it needed to be approved at a city council meeting - kinda weird, especially since those meetings are put on TV. But it became official with this past Friday's paycheck.
Anyways, I am officially a "Preschool Instructor" for the community center now (as opposed to puppet performer or recreation program assistant, my past titles). What's changed: nothing. I have the exact same job with the exact same hours. I do get a very, very nice pay raise. And I get assistants this summer for our summer programing. Oh, and my boss is letting me pick and chose which classes I want to teach for the summer season, which is our busiest season (since kids are out of school and there are tons of tots preparing for preschool and kindergarten).
So, yay!!!
