Ok, so I don't normally do this, but I want as many honest opinions as I can gather.
Compare:
Joe Wilson story (cover story) on
http://www.freepressonline.com/ and
http://www.courierpub.com/articles/2005/10/05/couriergazette/local_news/3news.txt Both stories about the same subject, the FP interview came directly before mine (note me in the far right corner of the FP picture, drinking my coffee and waiting for the FP interview to finish - ended up going 15 minutes into my slot so I marched over there and politely introduced myself. Gosh, did she FAWN over him! Almost enough to make me ill right there in the coffee shop.).
Joe Wilson first demostrated the fact that he carried a bright orange Hermes bag, which he explained contained clothing for him to change into on the way to returning to D.C. later that day so he could attend a Rolling Stones concert. The Stones apparently invited him to this event, so, as Wilson put it, "the seats must be great." AND THEN, he said, "But, you're too young to know who the Rolling Stones are, aren't you?"
Words of advice to any of you who may become famous, pompous asses yourselves someday: 1) When interviewed, don't do anything to insult the journalist. 2) If the journalist is young enough to be your child, don't underestimate their power to become indignant.
