I do, and how I do!

I'm sorry for going away like that, needed to get my head clear on a few things...

All done!! :D How are you?

So, all cleared up then? Of course you come back not a week after I finally decided to delete your old journal from my friends list! Well past the 30-day mark, weren't you.

I'm alright. I'm stuffed to death and I can't look at another piece of chocolate, but I'm fine otherwise. How was your holiday? Assuming you celebrate Easter.

Well, either that's true, or you're just buying time as you can barely remember me... if it's true, then my years on this planet have left the undeniable feeling that whilst there is no god, the timing of the universe is bitching!

My holidays were okay, I guess. Drank too much, pondered imponderables way beyond the point of absurdity... some things don't change. Yours?

Bitching it is. I've agonized over purging you and a few others, but I finally realized that after 30 days it doesn't matter anymore. I'm surprised you remembered me well enough to look for me.

My holiday was boring for the most part - my family got together, about 50 of us, and one can only take that for about two hours before one starts anxiously checking the clock every other minute - but I got a good run in. I've recently started running as an alternative to pondering imponderables. I am perhaps less deep, but I sleep better.

Forget you? Are you kidding? Your sense of humour is infectious! ... ... ... In a good way.

I think the main benefit I can derive from the past 18 months or so is I no longer speak to my depraved family (one of the things I had to resolve when I left the first time) but I understand the clock checking all too well.

As for running to avoid the thinking... I've recently taken up hill walking (I'm old so running is out) to the same end but hurt my knee on Saturday so was forced, yes, FORCED to sit in, drink wine and whine.

So, what have I missed? What's new?

PS, if you respond to my comment and I don't respond back immediately, it's because I've got a class I just realized I'm late for. :/

What class?

I have to go to bed anyway (23,54 here... on which note - Dear Bill Gates, times should be separated with a "," not a ":". Regards, Richard.) so no drama. Hope the class was worth it, write back soon.

Good night/day, whatever.

I've only got Maths and English, this semester.

Times should not be separated with a ",", strange foreign person. Also who uses military time? Americanize yourself, plz.

On a really really late note: how was your birthday?

It was okay thanks - I didn't do very much. Are you planning much for yours in a couple of weeks?

No, I've never been very big on birthdays. The most I might do is needle my grandmother into making me a banana-nut cake with her special frosting. Also I was thinking of mailing myself a present, but I can't decide if that's cute or just really, really sad.

I think that would be quite sad.

Yeah. It's not because I don't think I'll get any presents and I need to buy myself one to stay sane, though. I just love buying wrapping paper.
