I know I don't usually post this kind of stuff here, or much at all really.

The awards themselvse no big deal, as don't think that many blogs entered. But the prize is something I'd like a lot.
After I originally asked friends to vote, I noticed that the other 2 finalists were (either themselves or someone on their behalf) cheating, as their numbers would suddenly jump by 50 or more in space of a few minutes, after no movement in previous hour. The site had written a basic cookie such that one machine would be allowed one vote, though of course, we all know that's easy to get around. And even write a script to do.
I have no interest in winning via cheating so stopped bothering to ask for votes and left them to it. Last time I looked, one had 1499 votes and the other over 800. I was just under 200.
Then, recently, the site cleared out all the dodgy votes and the 1499 dropped to 46, and the 800+ to 170 something. Mine stayed pretty much same. The site emailed us all to explain and said they did it by IP address. They didn't disqualify the cheaters, which I would have done, but hey ho.
So may have lost a handful of genuine votes, from two or three users on same IP, but sure most of them were fakes.
I could have cheated too, obviously, but not interested in doing so.
So now it's a level playing field, would really like to win, and need your help.
I'm in lead but not by much. So a few extra votes could make the difference.
