Some of you may know of my father, Robert Steele (In SCA is is know currently as Gauss Magnason, formely as Shinawasi Magnason. You can say our relationship is strained at best. In fact I last talked to him on father's day, and before that it was at my wedding. He and I are very simular in personality, but have very different lives. Perhaps that is why he and I don't speak as much as we could.
Yesterday morning around 7:30 he suffered a heart attack while walking with a friend. His friend is CPR trained. So thankfully as soon as my father collapsed he had immediate critical care. A further stroke of luck was a Cardioligist was jogging past shortly after. They continued CPR as a police office stopped by and they used his AED. Within 15-20 minutes he was in the ER of Holy Cross Hospital.
As of last night at 10 when we left he was cooled to 33 degrees C to put him into a hypothemic state to keep his blood flow more centrel. Tonight the should begin to warm him up. Tomorrow they will begin tests to see if there was any long term damage.
To those that we had made plans with, please understand that we will need to reschedule for a later time and date, because we will need to be spending more time with my family trying to get through this tough time together.

I will update with news as I get it. My news will be a day behind what is happening. The next time I update will most likely be on Friday, because we are not expecting any news until late Thursday at the earliest.
